Over the years, we have shared many a wedding day with rain. But never during the ceremony when we were outdoors! So Saturday was a first. Danielle had come from Missouri to married her sweetheart Nathaniel on the beach in NC. Friday was a great day. Saturday dawned overcast - a favorite of photographers. As the bride and her party were doing makeup and hair, the rain came - in torrents!
Plan B - let the rain subside, do the wedding and then do the photos. So chairs were set up, the trellis put in place, the bride walked down the aisle. As the ceremony progressed, thunder joined in. Then lightning began its accompaniment. As the kiss was directed, rain led the crescendo and God poured out His blessing on this union!
Plan C - So the wedding party and guests went to the reception site for good food and indoor photos - with a promise of early morning photos on the beach the next day.
God's plan - He smiled on us and gave a beautiful Sunday - we arrived just as the fog was dissipating. There was a pier for shade from the sun and the ocean waves for action. Thank you God for blessing Nathaniel and Danielle with memories and stories they will tell for years to come! We were so blessed to be a part of it all!

Kevin - I met Nathaniel in 2008; Joshua Peede introduced us. Five years ago. He was a very honorable and personable friend then, and I know he'll be a wonderful husband to Danielle :) Congratulations to you! Great photos and lovely video, too!
